С 2020 года около 550 белорусских женщин предстали перед судом по политически мотивированным уголовным делам. На данный момент 215 белорусских женщин признаны политзаключенными. Инициатива 'Политвязка' направлена на мобилизацию белорусского общества в поддержку белорусских женщин, которые платят за участие в политической борьбе своей свободой, здоровьем и достоинством. Одна из задач - сделать женщин видимыми и сказать, какую цену белоруска платит за свой политический выбор. 

Female political prisoners in Belarus face harsh and inhumane conditions and are subjected to torture and abuse. Since 2020, approximately 550 Belarusian women have been brought to trial in politically-charged criminal cases. At the moment, 215 Belarusian women have been recognized as political prisoners. The Politvyazynka initiative aims to mobilize the Belarusian society in support of Belarusian women who pay for their participation in the political protests with their freedom, health and dignity. One of the tasks is to make Belarusian women visible and show what price they pay for their political stance. This initiative raises and sends donations to support political prisoners in Belarus.

The main tool for communicating with the public was Instagram, which posted more than 172 stories and interviews of Belarusian women who paid the price of freedom for participating in democratic protests in Belarus in 2020 - 2023. The media tool was Instagram, which gained more than 1,500 followers (https://www.instagram.com/politvyazynka/), through Instagram we have communication with women who have already been released and whose stories we published.
